A friend of mine mentioned a fantastic website the other day, I ended up spending most of the day going through it. I was talking to some of my other friends and they had already known about it. HMM what good friends.

It is a little hard to explain what it is, basically it is a site that links you to great info on the web. If you don’t know about this site plan on spending a long time there.

Kathleen is our 2012 senior model from Whitmer High School. She is very active in Mexican Folkloric Ballet and performs frequently. I am looking forward to her regular session where I can photograph her dancing in her colorful dress.

Would you rather shop for clothes or shoes? clothes, because there is more of a variety to choose from

What is your favorite store? Charlette Russe, they always have fun & fancy clothes to choose from.

Most fun piece of clothing you own? My fun flowy summer dress

Favorite all time movie? Any Madea movie, Tyler Perry is a very good actor & director.

What is your favorite food to eat at the movies? Pop corn or a soft pretzle and cheese.

Would you rather see a horror, drama, or comedy? Comedy, I love laughing.

Favorite restaurant: Italian, Mexican, Chinese? That’s tough but I think I have to go with Mexican.

What is your favorite meal to order? Burrito beans, and rice.

Favorite pizza topping? Banana peppers

Favorite tv show? Cake Boss, the cake ideas are amazing & outrageous.

Do you have a nickname? Katie, Katie Lady, or Poof (because when my hair is natrual it’s poofy)

What is your most embarrassing moment? When I did a high kick slipped and fell in front of all of my friends.

vacation: Mexico, just to see how different life is.

job: To be a back up dancer in music videos.

car: Slug bug, because there tiny and cute.

It only took me 2 years to finally get my “new” light prop out and use it, I have no idea why I waited so long! I love the look.

So when you come in for your studio session make sure you bring your funkiest outfit.

One great thing about my job is the ability to meet so many great people. Through my work at Casablanca I met and had the privilege of photographing Katie Dooley Maskey, “Mrs. Toledo”. Katie is obviously a beautiful woman, she is also very active in many organizations in our area. She is collecting gently used prom dresses for the “Prom For Paws” to benefit Planned Pethood Inc, which is a pet rescue organization. She also just participated the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

I love her blue dress, blue is definitely her color.

In addition to the huge success of KM Seniors we have also increased the number of maternity and newborn sessions we are doing. I want to wish everyone a great Thanksgiving. I have had so much to be thankful for this year, with a healthy happy family and an adorable Grandson that I get to spend my days. My mother was able to come out from Denver to spend the holidays with us and of course see her first Great Grandson. I have also been very fortunate to have meet fantastic seniors and their families.

Nick- Perrysburg High School Senior Pictures

I was truly fortunate to be able to take Nick’s senior pictures. Nick has cerebral palsy but that doesn’t stop him. My son Sean is a JV wrestling coach for Perrysburg and had seen Nick wrestle. After meeting his parents and sister, I found where he got his determination and strength. I was also very impressed with all the outfits that Charger had for the sessions between his sunglasses and bow tie, he was one stylish dog.

Haley- Bedford High School

I had so much fun with Haley and her mom. She has gorgeous blue eyes that really sparkle when she smiles. I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph Haley for three different sessions and luckily it was a bit cooler than it had been. We also made it to the Botanical Gardens before all the flowers were gone, I absolutely love the pictures of you by the stream.

Haley, I also heard from a little birdie that you have a beautiful singing voice.
